Spend two days with me in Barcelona

My cousin came for a few days to visit from The Netherlands, I could finally show her around my favorite city again 🙂

I did had to work while she was here, but luckily I had 2 days off so we got to spend the whole day enjoying beautiful Barcelona. Read on further to got some tips of this amazing place.

Friday

We started the day with bubble planet, this place is really fun to check out and also a good place to make pictures if you are looking for nice picturesque places. Prices are around 19 euros, you will find more information on their website.

After spending some time there we went to the old part of the city (El Born) to walk around for a bit and we made a reservation at La Ceramicaria to paint ceramic. I have done this already many times, and I really love to do it. For the ones that are staying for a longer time in Barcelona, this would be a really nice souvenir to take home. The reservation itself is free, the only thing you need to pay for is the ceramic piece you choose to paint. The prices depend on the different kind of ceramic. More information and to make a reservation you can find on their website. To read more about this place, check this article.

Next thing on the planning was brunch, we went to Gringa all day. Loved their pancakes!! When we finished we went to Playa Barceloneta to watch the sunset. It was so beautiful 🙂

For dinner we went to El Bandarra Taperia, this tapas restaurant is located in Vila Gracia. It has amazing food and cozy vibes with the perfect location. After dinner we stayed there to drink wine and played games.

Saturday

Starting the day with buying some food for on the way we went straight to Park Güell, on the way we made a stop at one of my favorite spots Carrer de Molist. Just love the view from this street. Here we walked around for a while and had our lunch as well. The next thing on the planning was Casa Vicens, we didn’t go inside, but believe me it is worth checking out even if only from the outside.

After walking around for a bit in Vila Gracia we went to one of my favorite places in Barcelona, and I was really excited to show my cousin this, because the views are amazing. We went to parque del Guinardó, this park has to my opinion one of the best views of Barcelona. So if you have time, you should definitely check it out when you are in Barcelona. Oh and it is totally free.

For dinner we went for Italian this time, called Via Napoli restaurant Pizzeria.

We ended the day with a movie 🙂
