First week in Barcelona

Hola! here is the next post of my Barcelona diary, I will talk about what I had to arrange to be able to work in Spain and how the searching for an apartment went.

Barcelona is a beautiful city with pretty much everything you need on your vacation. With it’s big city, parks, mountains and beaches you have lots of options to do while you’re here. But Barcelona is also a very crowded city, and this means that the beaches here in summer are also very crowded. So if you want to escape the city life, read on further for some beautiful beaches close to Barcelona 🙂

Favorite streets of Rome

Rome is one of my favorite cities in Europe. It is such a beautiful city, and I love to wander around just taking the beautiful views in. I made a list of my favorite streets of Rome, If you like to make pictures and wander around then this post is for you 🙂 Most of the streets are located in the neighborhood Monti, this is also my favorite neighborhood of Rome.

Moving day

For as long as I can remember I always wanted to move abroad, after I did a Spanish course in 2021 in Barcelona I knew I wanted to live there eventually. So when I was finally done with school in 2022 I decided it was time to follow my dream and move to Barcelona. If you look at my Instagram feed or Tiktok page you’ll see a happy me loving life in Barcelona. But what you can’t see is all the problems I dealt with moving to another country. Don’t get me wrong I love my life here and I am so grateful that I could make my dream to real life. But moving to another country is definitely not easy. With this series I want to talk about how it was to move from The Netherlands to Barcelona, Spain. Enjoy reading!

Daytrips from Barcelona

Barcelona is an amazing city, where you have lots of things to see and do but it can also be very crowded. The perfect way to escape the city life is to do a daytrip and luckily Catalunya is full with beautiful places. Here are 3 options 🙂

Badalona Beach

Barcelona is a beautiful city, with parks, city center, mountains and beaches this city has pretty much everything for a perfect holiday. But Barcelona can also be really crowded, especially in the summer season! But luckily Catalunya is full with beautiful beaches and one of them is Playa Badalona.

If you want to do something fun with friends or family in Barcelona and not looking for something touristy then this is a really good option. There are lots of options where you can do this in Barcelona but La Ceramicaria is my favorite, they have 3 places in Barcelona.
