This week, my parents came to visit me from The Netherlands. Because I had time off as well, we could do some things together in Barcelona. Read further about our daytrip to Girona, having dinner at a tapas restaurant and watching the sunset from the beach.
Monday
Because my parents arrived the day before and were still a bit tired we decided to do not to much, in the evening we went to the beach to watch the sunset. This is one of my favorite things to do, I am a sunset girly and this sunset was amazing.
Tuesday
This day we went for a daytrip to Girona, It is really easy from Barcelona Sants. With the train it takes about 1 hour to get there. We saw a lot of girona in one day, to get to know more about Girona read this post 🙂
Wednesday & Thursday
Because my parents already visited before they have seen a lot of Barcelona already. And because I had some other things planned as well, we only walked around Barcelona in these days.
Friday
Friday was the last full day with my parents and because they were leaving on Saturday we wanted to go out for dinner one last time. We went to Sagradas Tapas which I liked a lot. Like the name already says it is really close to La Sagrada Familia, if you have time you should definitely try it out.
Saturday & Sunday
In the morning I said goodbye to my parents and the rest of the weekend I didn’t do much because unfortunately I got a cold.
