Spend a week with me in Barcelona

One of my good friends came visiting from The Netherlands, we had such a good time! We went to a christmas market, walked around at Park Güell, eat delicious tapas, and much more 🙂

Saturday

We started the morning with walking to the old part of Barcelona (El Born). When we arrived we went first for an açai bowl at Açai&me, after that we walked around for a bit. We came across this cute souvenir shop called Mercilona, they have beautiful cards and posters there! Then it was time for some coffee so we walked to Vera Cafe. After coffee we walked around some more, took a few pictures and than we walked back home.

In the evening we went to a tapas bar, but unfortunately it is permanently closed now.

tip: while walking in El Born we came across this street called Carrer de Sant Ignasi, where you can see beautiful art.

Sunday

Today we went to a christmas market in the morning located near La Sagrada Familia, after wandering around for an hour we went for brunch at Bristol Cafe were I had amazing pancakes. When we finished eating we went to Park Güell, on the way we made a stop at the street Carrer de Molist. This street has one of my favorite views of Barcelona.

After enjoying that view for a while and also catching our breath, we walked 5 minutes more to Park Güell.

Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday

On these days I had to work so we didn’t do much together, after I finished we walked a bit around the city 🙂

Thursday

This was the last day my friend stayed, after I finished work we walked to the city center to watch the Christmas lights going on for the first time this year. I was really excited to see this and it did definitely not disappoint. After walking around for a while we went to Rossini to eat Italian food 🙂
