Spend a week with me in Barcelona

This week I spend with one of my friends and my grandparents came to visit me from The Netherlands. Read on further to get tips on coffee places, things to do in Barcelona and tapas restaurants.

Monday

This day I met my friend to study Spanish in a cafe, these past few weeks we always went to the same cafe because we like the vibe and the coffee is really good. It is also in one of my favorite neighborhoods: El Born. The name is Vera cafe.

We spend most of the day there.

Do you want to know more coffee places in Barcelona? Read this post 🙂

Tuesday

It was kind of the same for Tuesday, we went to the cafe and studied Spanish 🙂

Wednesday

This day my grandparents arrived, but late in the evening. So I spent the whole day cleaning my apartment and in the evening I went to the airport to pick them up. After that we basically went straight to bed because it was already pretty late.

Thursday

We started the day going to the bakery and after that we walked to one of my favorite bookstores Backstory (it is an English bookstore), were I bought a new book: Iron flame. Really excited to start reading that one 🙂 After that we walked to one of my favorite neighborhoods: Gracia, were we shopped for a bit.

While walking back home we came across another bookstore that I like: Re-read Libreria, were I found a small Spanish-English dictionary to practice Spanish with 🙂

At home we relaxed for a bit, before going to a tapas restaurant close to me: Sagradas Tapas, I’ve talked about this one before, the food is really nice!

Friday

We decided to have a “rest” day, so we spent the whole day on my balcony reading. My grandparents went for a walk to the beach in the afternoon.

Saturday

On Saturday we went for a hike to the Parque del Guinardó, I also wanted to go to the Bunkers del Carmel but it was a bit too much for my grandparents. So we walked around in the park and enjoyed the amazing views of Barcelona.

If you want to check out Bunkers del Carmel and Parque del Guinardó read the posts I linked to the names 🙂

Sunday

We started the day with brunch at Camelia Art Café, I have been there multiple times and it never disappoints. So if you have time, you should definitely check it out! I also really like their coffee 🙂 They have more locations, I went to the one close to La Sagrada Familia.

After we finished eating we went for a walk around La Sagrada Familia, so my grandparents could have a good view of the church.

In the afternoon we went back to my apartment to enjoy the rest of the day on my balcony.

Here are more brunch places to check out in Barcelona 🙂

And that was it for this week, enjoy Barcelona 🙂
