El Born is a neighborhood in the old part of Barcelona. It is also where I lived for a while and is still one of my favorite neighborhoods. El Born is filled with beautiful small streets, boutiques, museums and the famous Parc de la Ciutadella.
Here are some tips on what to do in El Born 🙂
Parc de la Ciutadella
This is a beautiful park, it is big and there are a lot of places where you can sit either on a bench or on the grass and enjoy your day at the park. right in front of the entrance of the park you can find the Arc de Triomf.
Walk around the small streets
Like I said El Born is filled with small picturesque streets, so get lost and enjoy the streets of El Born.
Picasso museum
There are a lot of museums in El Born and the Picasso museum is one of them. This museum is dedicated to the work of Pablo Picasso, a ticket is 12 euros and opening hours are from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 19:00.

Moco museum
Located in a 16th century palace you can find the Moco museum. Here they have works by celebrated modern and contemporary artists. Tickets are from €14,95.

Banksy museum
Banksy is known for his street art and this museum has more than 130 works of Banksy. Tickets are from 11 euros and opening hours are from Monday to Sunday 10:00 to 20:00.

La ceramicaria El Born
Here you can choose a ceramic and paint it, prices of the pieces you can choose of are between 15 and 20 euros. You have 2 hours to paint your ceramic. Keep in mind you can only do this if you stay in Barcelona for quite some time, the piece you created is done and ready for pick up after about 2 weeks. You can reserve a spot on their website, and they also speak English 🙂

Santa Caterina food market
Here you can find fresh vegetables and fruit and other thinks like nuts, candy and species.

Comedy show Space Cowboy
Here they have comedy shows every other Tuesday, the shows are in English, you can reserve a table on their website, the show itself is for free but after they are finished they will go around the public and you can decide what it was worth it to you and give that amount 🙂

Small boutiques
El Born is filled with small boutiques, wander around and shop for art, jewelry or clothes.
